Just wanted to make a quick video from our most recent purchase here in East Lyme Connecticut. fairhomeoffersct.com, we buy houses with cash and as is condition on your timeline, and that’s something that we did. We had a phone call on a Saturday afternoon, researched the property on Sunday, went to see the property on Monday, had an offer in and accepted on Tuesday. Now, for these particular sellers, they were on a very tight timeline. They needed to sell within the month. They needed cash in hand so that they can move out of state to buy another property that was facing foreclosure. So there was un-permitted work also then in the house. So they didn’t really have the convenience of getting the property listed and then dealing with those permit issues.
So we came in, we were able to buy the house on their timeline despite getting a septic inspection, which showed unfortunately that we needed an entirely new septic system. So we pushed for permits to go through, had the percolation test done… Sorry, just walking around looking, had the percolation test done, figured out what kind of system we needed, and we were still able to close exactly on the timeline that the sellers needed.
